Well, it has been awhile since I last felt like writing...

Me and Raven returned just fine, and her guild and sister were so glad to see her. It made me feel so glad that I belong to such a fine guild, full of wonderful friends....

I've not seen Jay in a long while, and I do think that I don't feel for him like I used to...
I sent a message to him, telling him what I think; I hope it does find him-I wish him no ill.

Our guild hall continues to grow; we just finished the garden. And oh, it is so lovely and peaceful there! I ran into Ryann and thought I would show him the garden. It was a bit...awkward, but he has been hurt so many times lately...he fell asleep, so I went off to train.
Well, I suppose I should go back to training then....

Well, I'm finally going to do it!!
I'm off on a journey for the next few days-I'm leaving to come bring my dear friend Raven Silvermoon back! She has been gone for so long-I wonder if she is still the same? I know her luck has been hard lately, from the few birds I have received from her, but I hope everything is alright. I hope too that she isn't overwhelmed by all the changes that have happened in Valorn lately-but I shall always be there to help her! Wait til she sees that I am a bard-I know she will be so proud! Oh, I just can't wait til I bring her back! Everyone will be so glad to see her, I just know it! I know her sister, Jade, misses her-but I bet so many others miss her too. Well, I shall write more in a few days when we come back!!

Well, it appears that I must start anew...my dear jounal has been ruined, as it fell into the water when I took the boat to Kilican. But, oh well-that is life; things happen, but you must move on...

Today, I discovered I had won a poetry contest that praises our Queen and the Ethucan Empress! I was so surprised-I did not think I was all that good at poetry, as I usually only write songs. But I won!! Here was the poem:


Magic Gateway-What have you brought?


Brightly, does the light from the portal flare,
As upon the clouds sparkles glitter fair,
Declaring to all near that hope is there,
A chance to reach lovely Ethucan.

A land of fragile beauty and peace,
But farther away than lands across the seas,
And more out of my reach than the tallest trees,
Who knew what fairness resided there?

But mighty Empress, of that fair land,
Did come and from our Queen demand,
A treaty, of peace, from Valorn’s hand,
Unity between the two.

And so our Queen, strong in arm and will,
Did so set the Empress at a standstill,
When she did agree to work to fulfill,
The peace between our lands.

Both ladies, regal in the splendor of their nation,
Took heart, and hands, smiling at the cessation
Of the unknown, rejoicing in sharing the formation,
Of the joining of our people.

Fair Ethucan, a delight upon the eyes,
To those in Valorn who do despise,
The fight, the pain which does devise,
To try and break us down.

Take heart, take hope-our friends are near,
For while Balthazar we still must fear,
Our fortunes improve this coming year,
With our open hearts.



Now I may go buy new armor! Finally!! Well, I'm off to shop now!
